"David's Dragon" was initiated as a carving demonstration for the 2004 Toronto Wood Show.  Because the chosen wood is Pawlonia (commonly known as Chinese Princess Wood), a dragon seemed an appropriate subject.  This is a purely whimsical work that inspired detail and posture as it emerged. It stands approximately 24" tall.
