"Moonscape" was designed as an experiment in translucense.  The globe glows under all backlit conditions (from both sides).  When the sculpture is exposed to a direct front light, its character is completely different.  When placed in a sunny window, the sculpture presents a new image at every glance due to the movement of the sun.
